Great experience over all! Simple check in and check out. Clean revamped rooms, comfortable. Beds are firm. Dishes in room was handy. Pull-out couch was a little awkward, not ideal for sleeping. We enjoyed the room overall and would stay again!
Hotel is a little run down but very clean and the room satisfied our needs. Location: well situated between West Baden and French Lick. Located next to a DQ that serves a biscuit & gravy better than McDonald's. The staff was very polite and easy to talk to. Checking in and out went smoothly. Overall: under 'Terms & Conditions' it clearly says "the property front desk is staffed from 8:00am to 9:00pm daily." However, the door sign read "Open at 3pm". This seemed a bit confusing to us and some of the other guests we spoke with.
Nice clean room. TV did not work at all and seemed to have no power. Other than that, a good place to stay. The reservation system sent a few too many emails and texts. (Over 10 at least)
The motel is amazing. Great location with everything you need in walking distance (besides the casino), rooms have always been clean fresh. No rowdy crowds have been around when we’ve stayed and it’s always been great. Check in is simple and easy as well.
We had a great overnight stay at The Valley Inn. Stayed 1 night January 31st to attend David Lee Murphy concert. The rooms were clean , beds comfortable , and service was awesome. I like the fact you don't have rooms keys or cards. It's a keypad with codes they provide you at check in. The only suggestion I could make is putting a rug inside the room in front of the door. They are remodeled rooms with wood floors and it was kinda messy with all the snow and salt tracked into the rooms. But I would definitely recommend this motel and will absolutely stay there again when in French Lick. 5 Teresa Woosley
The room was beautifully furnished, exceptional space, extra deep tub( that I loved I must add), but also had shower with all knew fixtures, and most impressively it was beyond clean probably one of the cleanest rooms Ive stayed in. Also included full size kitchen with stove, fridge, and microwave. I could really just go on and on about the room. One little sad note, no parking spot infront of our room but the room definitely made up for it I just wish it hadn’t been so cold out that night. Thank you
I was impressed. The appointments are nice, the room is spacious and, surprisingly quiet for facing a state highway. The location is convenient and, for an active walker, within walking distance of both hotels and downtown French Lick. I note for the record that communication is very active almost to the point of being overdone before check-in. Better that, however, than an absence of information. I'd stay again if I was in the area.
My family and I stayed here for a short weekend get away and LOVED IT! Check in and out was so convenient and the room was so clean and beds comfortable! I will definitely be staying here again! We had room 12! I will say I needed hotter water for my bath but I may have took a bath when everyone else at the hotel was ? I require HOT water for my baths! LOL we had a great stay! They were very communicative w our stay as well! That’s always nice!
